What is something your co-workers may not know about you?
My favorite subject is Science. I won third place at the Crane Naval base science fair.
What are your favorite hobbies?
I enjoy cake decorating and crafting.
Where did you go to school or training?
I graduated from the University of Southern Indiana with a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice.
Before working at Nix, what was the most unusual or interesting job you ever had?
I was a courthouse security officer for the Sheriff’s office back home.
Are you married?
Yes!
Do you have any children?
We have one on the way!
What is your favorite thing about working at Nix?
The people 100%!
What has been your favorite project you’ve worked on so far at Nix Companies?
Receiving an inbound lead and getting the correct information needed for the first time was very exciting! I remember running into the engineering office excited to show the new RFQ I had gotten. We ended up winning the project and shipped it out to North Carolina with a new customer.
Tell us a funny or embarrassing story while you were at work.
When Angela and I searched for, what we thought was a live cricket, for over 20 minutes (even timing chirps to see if it was some kind of joke). It drove us crazy until Angela googled “Cricket Pranks” and found the exact sound we were hearing. Turns out the guys hid a cricket card underneath Angela’s desk for it to go off at random times!
