What is something your co-workers may not know about you?

I have a degree in Chemistry and used to work in a lab.

What are your favorite hobbies?

I enjoy watching sports. Anything Atlanta (Falcons, Hawks, Braves). In the summer, I like to go boating, wakeboard, and wakesurf. Video games.

What is your favorite thing about working at Nix Companies?

The people. It makes it easy coming to work everyday when you genuinely enjoy the people you work with.

Before working at Nix, what was the most unusual or interesting job you ever had?

I used to work in quality control for a food oil company. I ran different analytical tests on fats and oils to make sure they met the necessary specifications.

Are you married?

Yes, I got married on 11/7/20.

Do you have any children?

Yes, I have one daughter. She turned two May 7th.

What has been your favorite project you’ve worked on at Nix?

Getting Custom Fab ISO 9001: 2015 certified. A lot of different team members worked on it for months and it was great finally seeing it to completion.

Tell us a funny or embarrassing story while you were at work.

There is a running joke with the guys at custom fab that I always end up at whatever location is getting a free lunch. They give me a hard time whenever I show up and say things like “Cole’s here, we must be getting a free lunch today.” Tracy probably does it the most.
