Our Structural Fabrication Division fabricated steel for the Paducah Innovation Hub in Kentucky. The Paducah Innovation Hub is a facility that helps grow talent for the region through immersive experiences in technology, trades, healthcare, river industry and more. This project included 570 tons of fabricated steel as well as a considerable amount of AESS (Architecturally Exposed Structural Steel).

Often times we work with manufacturing and industrial clients to fabricate handrails for their work spaces. We always enjoy the opportunity to build handrails that are not only functional but add to the aesthetics of a new building project. These handrails were fabricated in our Poseyville shop, powder coated by our Coatings team and installed by a few team members at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Haubstadt, Indiana. Great work by all of our team!

The team at the Superior Fabrication division of Nix Metals processed, fabricated and painted all of the structural steel that is being used to build this retail shopping center. It is exciting to see all of the steel transformed into buildings and facilities for our customers! Great job to the crew in Rockport!

At Nix Coatings, our powder coating team can handle projects of only a few parts to thousands of small parts. We work with a holster manufacturer to powder coat these parts. In 2017, we powder coated over 200,000 parts for this customer. This process starts with a chemical pretreatment followed by a textured powder being applied. These pictures show our overhead rail system, built and designed by the team at Nix Metals, that allows our team to work more safely and efficiently doing these types of high volume projects. We appreciate the partnership with our customer and the attention to detail our team provides!

The team power cleaned the block and repainted the entire facility with little downtime to the customer. Great job team!
